22...g5
White has a winning position after a succesful opening resulted in a win of a pawn but with opposite color bishops Black might reasonably assume there was some cause for hope in holding out for a draw. I was keen not to be lazy and complacent as I had been the day before when I drew two games in a rather silly manner. Here I found a way to get a winning Kside attack that Black was powerless to resist.

23.f4! h6 24.fxg5 hxg5 25.Qd2 Qe7
It seems as though Black has found a way to hold things together but what follows shows this to be an illusion.

26.d4 d5
Black could hardly let White get in D4 D5 and control of e6 with a huge check and direct attack on the Kingside

27.e5 Na7 28.Qd3 Qe8
Qg6 had to be prevented

29.Rf2 Rb7 30.Rbf1 Re7 31.Bg4 b4 32.Nc1
Whites plan of Nb3 to c5 followed by Rf6 leaves Black position in tatters.

32...Qb5? 33.Qg6 Qe8
A funny thing now happened. I was just about to play my next move and had my hand over the piece when my opponent gracefully resigned. Seeing as Whites next move leads to a hopeless position it is understandable that Black was happy to be put out of his misery.

34.Rf7
Strictly speaking not played as Black resigned just as I was about to play it. 1-0
